What to expect from overnight boarding at Rover Retreat

You can bring your dog to us for overnight visits as well. Your best friend will be out and playing with the other dogs (day care and boarding friends!) for the duration of the stay, except for feeding times, nap time and bed time. For those times they will have a private run for a little break from the festivities. Unlike many other places there is NO EXTRA CHARGE for our overnight guests to join in the fun!

Your dog can expect to spend the day with other dogs of the same temperament, closely supervised by our caring staff. Likes, dislikes, best friends, or that special place to scratch, our staff works hard to get to know your dog's personality. We also monitor dogs closely for signs they are getting tired or irritable, which can sometimes happen during a long stay.

When that happens we give them some extra care and rest behind the desk away from the other dogs. We want your best friend's entire stay with us to be enjoyable, whatever that entails!

You can expect a customer focused experience. We want you to feel completely at ease when you leave your dogs with us. We provide a clean and safe environment for socialization and play. We are experienced with accommodating special needs, such as shyness, elderly dogs, or gradual socialization for younger dogs. We will also be honest with you
about how your dog is doing with us.

While we are a business, we do not want to have guests that do not enjoy the day care experience. You can count on us to give you honest feedback about your pet. In return we want you to be honest with us. If there is anything you think we could do to improve our service please let us know!

What to bring? That is up to you. We provide bowls, blankets, and a treat for nap time and bed time. We can provide our food if you don't want to bring yours. We feed Kumpi dog food, a Colorado company! For dogs with intestinal difficulties we provide a prescription food that is easy on the stomach. You are also welcome to bring a special toy or bed to make your dog feel more at home. Please make sure any belongings are safe to wash in case they get dirty.

If there is something else your dog requires, such as medication, we can also administer them with clear instructions from you.

NOTE: if your dog has allergies and can not have regular treats or food, please bring a these items from home. We do not carry hypoallergenic food or treats because of the variety of allergies that exist.

Whether you bring items from home or not the cost is the same.
