Rover Retreat is an award-winning pet care facility providing dog boarding, dog daycare and dog grooming services to our clients in Golden, Arvada, Lakewood, and the greater Jefferson County area. We are a licensed and BBB Accredited committed to meeting high standards of care for our guests.
Our Mission
We believe dogs should be treated like family and do our very best to make sure their stay with us is comfortable, safe and happy. Whether it is just for the day or a two week stay we promise to provide your dog with the best care possible. We provide a clean and safe environment for socialization and play. We are experienced with accommodating special needs, such as shyness, elderly dogs, or gradual socialization for younger dogs.
Rover Retreat’s Business History
We started as Waggin’ Tails back in 1996, making it one of the first day cares in the Denver area. The current owners purchased Waggin’ Tails in 2003 and operated under that name until 2007. At the beginning of 2007 we changed the name to our corporate name – Rover Retreat.
We Provide Great Customer Service
You can expect a customer focused experience. We want you to feel completely at ease when you leave your dogs with us. While we are a business, we do not want to have guests that do not enjoy the day care experience. You can count on us to give you honest feedback about your pet. In return we want you to be honest with us. If there is anything you think we could do to improve our service please let us know!
We can rest assured that Skippy will be carefully cared for by his ‘Other Moms’ just the same as he is treated by us. We love the fact that Skippy is having a wonderful time whether it is for daycare or while we are away on vacation. Thanks for making this Skippy’s favorite place and home away from home.
